VOLT Hockey Canada has come a long way from our inaugural game at Variety Village in 2016. With another incredibly successful season under our belts, we are celebrating a year of remarkable expansion and are poised to energize the sport like never before. Before heading into our next chapter, we’re looking back at the wins we’ve earned together over the last nine months.

A Fresh Face: The New VOLT Hockey Canada Branding

In the fast-paced world of sports, branding is more than just a logo – it’s a symbol of identity, passion and commitment. For VOLT Hockey Canada, the unveiling of our new branding marks not just a visual transformation, but a bold statement of our mission to revolutionize and diversify the game of hockey.

Our new branding reflects the organization’s commitment to accessibility and adaptability. With its modern design and unified approach, VOLT Hockey Canada is continuing to break down barriers and invite players of all backgrounds and abilities to join the game. With sleek lines, dynamic colour, and a streamlined cross-platform approach, VOLT Hockey Canada’s new look will bring our game to the next level.

Implementation of the refreshed logo on club equipment and marketing materials will continue to be rolled out into the upcoming season. We’re looking forward to doing this together.

A Year of Expansion: Celebrating Success

This season was a celebration of inclusivity and the transformative power of sports, marked by growth, resilience, and profound impact, both on and off the rink.

At the heart of VOLT Hockey Canada’s mission lies a commitment to inclusivity, ensuring that every individual, regardless of their abilities, has the chance to experience the joy and camaraderie of team sports. This season, that commitment has manifested in remarkable ways with the expansion of the national league. New teams have been added to the roster, culminating in three teams in Alberta, two teams in Manitoba, and six teams in Ontario – and we’re still growing! This past year, VOLT Hockey Ontario alone has hosted two tournaments, Try-It Days in Oshawa, Barrie, Peterborough, and London, expanded to four new locations, and facilitated 71 athletes playing the sport that they love.

To round out the season, the league will also be hosting its second cross-border tournament, welcoming teams from Ontario, Alberta and Boston to Variety Village in Toronto at the end of May.

The conclusion of another successful season for VOLT Hockey Canada has brought about another year of family memories, teammate bonding, healthy competition, and an invaluable network of support. By extending its reach, VOLT Hockey Canada is touching the lives of ever-increasing amounts of more young athletes across the country than ever before.

Looking Ahead: the Future of VOLT Hockey Canada

As we celebrate VOLT Hockey Canada’s new look and new communities, let’s continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of hockey and sport. With new VOLT Hockey clubs waiting in the wings and continued plans for national and local expansion, we aim to bring inclusive and accessible team sports to as many youths as we can possibly reach. With your continued support, we will spread the innovation, passion and inclusivity that VOLT Hockey Canada is known for.
