We did it!
2008 Ontario ParaSport Summer Games
On July 25 & 26, Variety Village hosted the 2008 Ontario ParaSport Summer Games. Our goal from the start was to organize the “best ever” Summer Games with the focus on the athletes. The positive feedback from all the participants has been inspiring. The Games gave us the opportunity to renew our past relationships with Centennial College, CARD, Paralympics Ontario and the City of Toronto. We were able to create a new level of excitement in Paralympic Sports as well as introduce a new generation of Paralympic athletes to the exciting facilities we have here in Toronto. The event was a tremendous success and a true reflection of excellence on the part the organizing committee, Variety’s staff and over 100 volunteers.
